The video, give us examples with futbol. First, talk about speed and agility. If you have a great speed you can overtake your defensors and move quickly the ball. You can improve speed doing regular exercises including sprint, speed ladders and agility hurdles. Then, talk about streght that helps you run faster, jump higher and hold off opponents when you're on attack. You can improve it with exercises like squats. Finally, talk about endurance, in football you have to be 90 minutes playing, so you can improve it with endurance exercises.
I think the video that Sofia has chosen is very interesting because it explains the basics of the improvement of each ability, without explaining nothing complex. In the video, he explains some exercises to improve speed, agility, strength and endurance. He shows the effect of the different abilities in football matches, but they are applicable to a lot of different sports/disciplines. I think is very important to improve them if you want to improve your performance in some sport. There are some sports that require a higher develop in one ability and not so much in others but others, like football or basketball, you need to improve in all of these abilities.
