Hi, my name is Diana and I'm a student of San Gregorio school. I decided to this entry on the blog about body expression because we are going to work it some sessions in this assesment. We have to do a work ourselves by groups about body expression, which consists of recording a video of at least 15 minutes without speaking. It seems easy, but it really is very difficult to express ourselves through gestures without speaking, that's why I decided to choose this video because it can help us to make our video. Besides that I like a lot the videos of TEDx and I find very didactic I have chosen this one because it explains the patterns and what is the body expression without the use of words, simply and in an easy way to understand. I think that body language is very important in life in general, At school we learn to express ourselves better with our body in presentations, for example with gestures, the importance of the position of hands, of our body ... Because although we do not realize We transmit much through our body ,such as we feel(if we are angry, happy ...) And we can even influence the opinion of the other about us. I hope this video will help you as it has served me and that you enjoy it. Diana
Good morning Diana, I came to comment your entry because I find interesting what you have written in your entry. To this I will add my insight into body language. I think it's a skill that everyone should have. Knowing how to express yourself through gestures, understand someone by expressing your face, or simply getting in touch with a person who does not share the same code of communication is a very necessary thing in our day to day life. It is also very good to use body expression in dances because this is how our body is shaped. Even my cousin is a gymnast, to see it does not seem to get tired much, but he personally tells me how difficult and sacrificed is to get to do those steps and movement and besides that, to be able to transmit something to the public, I admire that work a lot and Even more important the body expression, I hope we are able to achieve a good video for the evaluation. a greeting Pablo Estébanez
Hi Diana, and a happy New Year! I saw your post and I decided to comment on it because I think body expression is a very necessary and also funny capacity that everyone has. If you are going to a country which language you don’t know, you can try to communicate with people of that country with the body expression. You can also try to speak English, which is the “official” language in the world., but it won’t be funny as trying to do it by gestures. In class, when we did the little stories with body expression I found it so amusing and interesting for all people, we had a lot of fun seeing other groups trying to do the story which other people gave with four words. To sum up, body expression is so useful in life and funny that everyone should do it often in their lifes. Nuria.
