Hello I'm carla and I have chosen to comment on this video because I think it looks very well the representation of how to act in a situation where you have to help a person who may or may not be unconscious. In the video you can see how you would have to perform the steps one by one, always calmly and without getting upset because it can be worse, because you get nervous and in the end the person who is in this state you can not help, because you have altered and end up doing wrong steps, calm is essential in a stressful situation.
The video I have chosen talks about how we should react when someone needs first aid before calling for medical help. This action is known as initial assessment or primary survey and has some steps to follow (DR ABC): danger (see if there is danger to us), response (know if the person is conscious), airway (check if the airway is clear), breathing (check if he/she can breathe) and circulation (look if he/she has any wounds on his/her body). This method allows us to make a quick and orderly assessment to better understand how to treat a person in distress in order of priority.
