There are many sports, and in most of them respect and values are shown, that's what sportsmanship is all about, trying to win, but with respect. I have been doing judo for as long as I can remember and judo is one of the martial arts in which more values are taught, moreover, in the black belt exam they take into account your values and respect for your opponent. What we can see in this video is the Spanish champion Fran Garrigos, doing an ippon to Nagayama, the Japanese champion, the referee shouted “mate”, which means that the fight should be stopped, and Garrigos continued a second more with the strangulation, so that before the clear defeat, the Japanese decided to complain and not shake hands with the Spanish, which seems to me a gesture of total unsportsmanship.
