In this video, we can see how to act on a cardiac arrest. In my opinion, this video is very interesting and useful in case of an accident. The population must know how to act on this situation, and what we have to do or not. Your life can change from one moment to another, so the CPR technique can save many lives. This emergency procedure is not very complex, but it is important to follow all the steps. First of all you must get the place save, and check if the person is conscious. Call 112 and before they arrive, you must act. Lye the person facing up and sit close to him. You must hear, feel and see his/her breathing. If not, start doing the mouth to mouth technique and the chest compressions. You have to alternate 2 mouth to mouth with 30 chest compressions.
Hello, my name is Ángela and I’m going to comment on Carlos’s video for this assessment. I chose it because it’s very related to the one I picked. I found this video interesting for the fact that it’s a real-life example of First Aids that could happen at any moment, right now. The old man ends a call with a member of his family and smiles, all of a sudden, he falls. A man sees this and calls immediately 911 and does all the required steps to save his life. We can see the medical assistance point of view too, which is interesting.
In this video, we can see how to act in a sudden cardiac arrest, in this case, an old person has suffered a sudden cardiac arrest, and a boy saw him and went inmediatly to help him. The first thing the boy did, was to call 911 and tell them what has happened, where, if the elderly person was breathing..., and the boy proceeded to check it: seeing, hearing and feeling the breathing. Then, while a girl went to search a defribillator, the boy closed his knees near the elderly person´s shoulders and started doing compressions on the sternum. After, the girl arrived with the defibrillator, she connected it to the old person and he woke up. And finally, thanks to the good reaction of the boy, emergency services arrived and they could save the elderly person.
